About us
Four palaces, one standard
City, coast, savannah and lakeside — run by the same family since 1998.
Our story
It started with eleven rooms in Nairobi
In 1998 the Algazube family took over a tired guesthouse on Riverside Drive with eleven rooms and one cook. The idea was simple: treat every guest like a house guest, and never cut a corner a guest could feel.
Nearly three decades later the collection spans four properties — Nairobi, Diani Beach, the Maasai Mara and Kampala — with the same kitchen philosophy, the same turndown ritual and many of the same faces.
We stay small on purpose. No property in the collection exceeds ninety keys, which is how we keep the welcome personal and the service unhurried.

What we hold to
Rooted here
Every palace is built, staffed and supplied within its own region. 94% of our team is hired locally.
Quietly generous
No resort fees, no minibar traps. Water, Wi-Fi, coffee and the pool are simply included.
Made to last
Solar hot water, borehole filtration and zero single-use plastic across all four properties.
